1. Packing kitchen items into boxes

Packing kitchen items during a move requires the most effort, the highest level of concentration, and takes the most time. Considering that these are usually quality kitchen utensils as well as glass items (glasses, plates, glass bottles, cups, etc.), this part of the job requires the most attention because these items are the most fragile.

Our sincere recommendation, and almost a necessity, is to pack these items in sturdy cardboard boxes.

Immediately before placing glass items into boxes, each item is wrapped in stretch film, newspapers, or special sulfate paper designed specifically for this purpose.

After that, the items are packed into boxes next to each other with a small gap between them, in no more than two layers. Once the items are packed, if there is any empty space left in the box, it should be filled with paper or styrofoam so the items do not move during transport.

Finally, once the items are packed into boxes, the box is sealed with tape. The box should be labeled with signs such as “fragile”, “handle with care”, and most importantly, it should indicate the correct upright position so the box is not turned during carrying.

2. Furniture protection

Do you want to move a bed, wardrobe, antique furniture, a double (French) bed, refrigerator, washing machine, or a sectional sofa? In order to protect your furniture, you should never attempt to move it by yourself. Instead, hire professionals who are experienced in this type of work. Each of the items mentioned above has significant weight, and there is a high risk of injury, which is why it is best to rely on someone who understands the proper techniques and routines for handling such items.

Before carrying the items out, they must first be properly protected. The first step when moving this type of furniture is removing and dismantling unnecessary parts. This can be done either to reduce the weight or because certain parts must be removed due to size limitations, for example when an item cannot pass through a door frame or fit into an elevator.

Once the items are dismantled and ready to be carried, the protection process begins using stretch film.

Each item is carefully wrapped in transparent film to protect it from potential damage such as scratches, cracks, dirt, and similar issues.
